古典音乐大厂DG创厂以来最年轻的签约艺人─德国小提琴家大卫盖瑞在2010年以『Rock Symphonies』专辑撼动全球乐坛，他在专辑中将Nirvana、Aerosmith、Led Zeppelin等摇滚乐团的经典作品演绎成兼具古典乐气势与摇滚乐格局的交响诗，在赢得古典乐界的摇滚巨星头衔之后，大卫盖瑞以最新大碟【Legacy】展现百分百纯度的古典热情，同时向全世界宣告，他从未离弃他真正的音乐啟蒙–古典音乐。
这场為了全新专辑所举办的【Legacy - Live In Baden-Baden】演奏会，请到知名指挥家Vladimir Spivakov及Lorenzo Coladonato担纲指挥，并且力邀俄罗斯国家爱乐管弦乐团共同演出，演奏会的选曲从贝多芬神采飞扬的小提琴协奏曲到维也纳小提琴家兼作曲家克莱斯勒(Fritz Kreisler)的经典作，流露大卫盖瑞对古典音乐的强烈企图与热烈爱恋，他以繁复层次与深沉触感的演奏技艺赋予贝多芬的小提琴协奏曲一新耳目的听觉快感与活力，同时也在协奏曲的慢板乐章中展现小提琴对於音乐旋律的掌握技巧。专辑最后更超值加收长达53分鐘的“Playing For My Life”精彩纪录片，完整纪录了他一路走来的精彩过程，更有许多从未曝光的精彩画面，您当然绝对不能错过。
All David Garrett fans rejoice - in addition to the album Legacy DVD Legacy appears that David Garrett: Live in Baden Baden. The DVD contains the documentary about David Garrett `Playing For My Life`, and the entire Baden Baden concert by David Garrett. Under the baton of Lorenzo Cola Donato plays the violin, the violin concerto with the National Philharmonic of Russia. With these recordings shows David Garrett, where his musical roots and gives the impetus for a new chapter in its success story that combines two worlds, as it manages only a few artists.
